Description
If you want Christmas and winter activities that still require meaningful 4th grade math, this bundle gives you three different digital escape rooms with distinct storylines, lengths, and difficulty levels. Choose a quick snow-globe challenge, a reindeer investigation, or the more involved Revenge of the Gingerbread Man.
Escape the Snow Globe
This quick winter challenge generally takes about 20–30 minutes. Students practice:
- Multiplicative-comparison, division, and multi-step word problems
- Two-digit by two-digit multiplication
- Four-digit by one-digit division
- Prime and composite numbers, factors, and rounding to the nearest ten
Revenge of the Gingerbread Man
The most challenging activity in the bundle is designed for approximately 60 minutes and works especially well with small groups. Skills include:
- Two-digit by two-digit multiplication
- Interpreting remainders in division
- Multi-step problems using multiple operations
- Factors, multiples, prime numbers, and math vocabulary
- Logic puzzles and ciphers
The Rogue Reindeer
This activity typically takes 30–45 minutes and includes:
- Rounding to the nearest ten and hundred
- Multi-step word problems
- Three-digit by one-digit division without remainders
- Two-digit by one-digit multiplication
- Missing values in equivalent fractions
- Factors, multiples, and prime numbers
No-prep digital implementation
All three products are digital escape rooms automated through Google Forms. The puzzles are self-checking, there are no physical clues to hide, and Google Classroom or student email accounts are not required. Optional printable recording pages, puzzle helpers, a Rogue Reindeer cipher disk, teacher directions, answer keys, and success signs are included, but the bundle does not contain three full printable escape rooms.
Use the games separately throughout December or offer different missions based on the time available and the amount of challenge your students need.
