Description
This 4th grade multi-digit addition and subtraction escape room includes both printable and digital options. Students use the standard algorithm, regroup across zeros, and solve word problems while working through six library-themed clues.
The activity aligns with Common Core Standard 4.NBT.B.4. It gives students meaningful computation practice without relying on another traditional worksheet.
Choose print or digital
The black-and-white printable version is low prep and printer friendly. It includes an introduction, six connected clues, and a success page. Students solve each clue as they work to escape the library.
The digital version runs through Google Forms™. It is no prep, self-checking, and fully automated. There are no locks to prepare or clue cards to hide. Students do not need Google™ accounts, Google Classroom™, or email addresses.
