Description

Fourth graders will love using their knowledge of equivalent fractions and their ability to compare fractions in this engaging digital escape room activity. When a baker gets tired of giving tours and field trips, she decides to turn her bakery into an escape room. Can your students put fractions into simplest forms to measure the ingredients for a cake? Can they compare fractions to open a lock? They’ll need these skills to complete the five fun puzzles in this educational breakout activity.

The escape room process is automated using a Google Form™ (no e-mail addresses required). Simply scan the provided QR code or click on the link to get your students started. This activity is low prep, only few pages to print, and highly engaging! Use this online breakout in the classroom in groups, or for distance learning or virtual school. Homeschool parents and kids also love these easy to use escape rooms to spice up their math lessons!
