Description
The Thanksgiving Thwarter has locked dinner inside the oven, and your 4th graders must open five locks before time runs out! This Thanksgiving math escape room combines a holiday storyline with challenging, standards-based puzzles that require real mathematical reasoning.
Both printable and digital versions are included. Choose the printable escape room for a hands-on team challenge, or use the low-prep Google Forms version to automate the process. Students do not need email addresses or Google accounts for the digital activity.
4th grade math skills students will practice

This is a strong choice for the days before Thanksgiving break, a holiday class party with meaningful learning, review, enrichment, or cooperative problem solving. Most students finish in under 45 minutes, but allowing up to 60 minutes is safest. Some students may finish in 20–30 minutes.
