Printable version: Give teams the backstory and puzzle materials for a collaborative challenge away from screens.
Digital version: Students work through the automated Google Forms activity using an internet-connected device. No clues need to be hidden, and students receive feedback as they progress.
Groups of two to four are recommended, although students may also work independently. Most students finish in under 45 minutes; allowing up to 60 minutes is safest. Students with a strong grasp of the skills may finish in 20–30 minutes.
All information needed is provided in the activity, so students do not need to search the web. Please confirm that your school or district allows Google Forms if you choose the digital version.
