Can your students catch the Candy Corn Man before he escapes the factory? In this Halloween math adventure, fourth graders follow his trail by solving interconnected multiplicative comparison puzzles.
This story-driven digital escape room is designed for meaningful practice—not simply a worksheet with a code attached. The challenge runs in a self-checking Google Form™, so there are no clues to hide and no answers for the teacher to check. Students do not need email addresses, Gmail™ accounts, or Google Classroom™.

The Candy Corn Man mission
The Candy Corn Man is on the run, and your students must follow him through the factory. Each puzzle advances the story while requiring students to reason about multiplicative comparisons, translate comparisons into equations, and solve standards-based word problems. The Halloween theme makes it a natural class-party activity, but the math focus also works throughout the fall.

Frequently asked questions
Do students need Google accounts?
No. Anyone with the link and an internet-connected device can complete the escape room.
How long does it take?
Most students finish in 35–45 minutes. Students with a firm grasp of the skills may finish in about 20 minutes, while others may need longer. If students cannot finish in one session, have them record their answers so they can quickly return to their stopping point.
Do students need to search the web?
No. Everything students need is contained in the escape room. The math is standards-based and the puzzles support the story.
