Description
Give third graders meaningful math practice without handing them another stack of worksheets. This bundle includes five story-driven digital escape rooms covering operations, multiplication properties, fractions, area, and perimeter.
Each mission uses interconnected puzzles and clues to encourage active learning, persistence, and collaboration. The escape process is automated through Google Forms™, making the activities easy to implement for practice, enrichment, centers, or test-preparation variety.
Five Escape Room Missions
- Escape the Library: Add and subtract within 1,000 with regrouping (3.NBT.A.2)
- Escape from Mars: Use multiplication and division within 100 (3.OA.A.1–4)
- Rescue a Mayan Treasure: Apply the distributive and associative properties of multiplication (3.NBT.A.3 and 3.OA.B.5)
- Save the Submarine: Name, compare, and identify equivalent fractions (3.NF.A.1–3)
- Find the Missing Spy: Solve area-and-perimeter clues and ciphers (3.MD.C.6, 3.MD.D.7, and 3.MD.D.8)
Easy Digital Setup
Students do not need Google accounts, Google Classroom™, or email addresses. Anyone with an internet-connected tablet, computer, or phone can complete the activities, provided the school allows access to Google Forms™.
Nothing needs to be printed or hidden for the main digital activities. Some included products also offer optional printable pieces that can make the missions feel more immersive. Schools that require forms to originate within their own system can use the included copy option.

Most classes will need about 45 minutes for each escape room, although confident students may finish in 20–30 minutes. Allowing up to 60 minutes gives students time to discuss, revise, and work through challenging clues.

Is this a comprehensive review of every 3rd grade standard?
No. The bundle provides standards-based practice across several important skill areas, but it is not intended to cover the complete third-grade curriculum.
Do students need to search the web?
No. All information needed to solve the puzzles is included in each Google Form™.
