The Gingerbread Man has locked your class inside the bakery! Your 3rd graders must use multiplication, division, estimation, graphing, and problem-solving skills to escape.
This challenging winter digital escape room is automated and self-checking in Google Forms. There are no clues to hide, and students do not need email addresses or Google accounts. The gingerbread theme does not mention a specific winter holiday.
3rd grade math skills students will practice
- Estimating addition problems by rounding to the nearest hundred
- Solving division word problems within 100 with single-digit divisors and no remainders

This is a full-length, challenging escape room. Partners or small groups are a good choice, although students may work independently. Most students finish in under 45 minutes, but allowing up to 60 minutes is safest.
Use it before winter break, in a math center, for enrichment, homeschool learning, tutoring, or collaborative review. Students do not need to search the web. Please confirm that your school or district allows Google Forms.
