Description
Help the snowman escape from a mysterious snow globe in this quick 3rd grade winter math escape room. Students solve three connected puzzles to find the lock combination, discover where the key is hidden, and determine the correct order for the snowflake buttons.
Choose the low-prep black-and-white printable escape room or the automated, self-checking Google Forms™ version. The winter and snowman theme does not mention a specific holiday, so it works well before winter break, on a snow day, or throughout the winter season.

Printable version: Give students the introduction and three full-page clues one at a time or as a packet. Students can work independently, with a partner, in a small group, or as a whole class. Work space is included on the pages.
Digital version: The Google Forms™ escape room is self-checking and requires correct answers before students continue. The Quick Start option does not require students to have Google accounts. You can also copy the form to your Google Drive to collect names, view responses, add hints, or make other adjustments.

Preparation and use
