Description

This 7th grade multiplying and dividing integers escape room gives students focused practice with signed numbers. Students solve six connected puzzles to help two secret agents escape from an enemy contact. Each challenge asks them to apply integer sign rules, multiply multi-digit integers, or use long division with positive and negative numbers.

The activity follows seventh-grade math standards and fits within one class period. Most students finish in 35–45 minutes. Students who already have a strong understanding of integer operations may finish in 20–30 minutes.
