Description
This 7th grade multiplying and dividing integers escape room gives students focused practice with signed numbers. Students solve six connected puzzles to help two secret agents escape from an enemy contact. Each challenge asks them to apply integer sign rules, multiply multi-digit integers, or use long division with positive and negative numbers.
The activity follows seventh-grade math standards and fits within one class period. Most students finish in 35–45 minutes. Students who already have a strong understanding of integer operations may finish in 20–30 minutes.
A no-prep digital math activity
The escape room runs in Google Forms™ and checks every answer automatically. Students do not need Google accounts. They only need a device, a browser, and an internet connection.
You may also create your own copy of the form if your school requires Google Forms™ to originate within its system. Check that your district allows access to Google Forms™ before using the activity. There are no clues to hide, and the printable support pages are optional.

No. Anyone with internet access can complete the activity on a tablet, computer, or phone.
How long does the escape room take?
Most students finish in under 45 minutes. Allow up to 60 minutes if students need more processing time. Students who are not signed into Google can record their answers on paper and quickly re-enter them later.
Can I use it for remote or hybrid learning?
Yes. Students can complete the entire activity online in person, remotely, or in a hybrid classroom.
Do students search the web for clues?
No. Google Forms™ provides all of the information students need, and every math problem is standards based.
